We pride ourselves on being the locals family favourite, however our menu is designed to appeal to our ever growing hotel guests as well. We have a balanced combination of family Great British pub classics, street food and some more adventurous gastronomical seasonal dishes to keep everyone happy. The kitchen team are continuously evolving menus to excite everyone’s taste buds, and are passionate about using seasonal produce..

Please note: We cater for a variety of events.  If you are looking for a venue to host your wedding reception, wake, birthday party or office gathering etc. then The Duke is the place for you. Our Green room can cater for up to 30 people sat together but the entire pub can be booked out if you wish. If you would like more details email us here.

Guests can choose from our Food Menu for numbers of 10-20. If your numbers are  more than 20 then our Chef will device a bespoke menu for you and your guests.  A buffet option can be arranged for parties of 20 or more, please communicate any requirements with your booking.

Veggie, Vegan and Coeliac friendly.

Deposits and pre-orders are required and will be communicated at time of enquiry.

Come and join us for a fabulous evening of food and wine!  Chef Alan Dann has created a 5 course autumn tasting menu to die for with the focus on Game cuisine!  Get all 5 courses for £50 per head and why not add the perfect wine pairing with each course for an extra £40 per head.
