The Duke Of Marlborough Christmas Party Menu

We pride ourselves on being the locals family favourite, however our menu is designed to appeal to our ever growing hotel guests as well. We have a balanced combination of family Great British pub classics, street food and some more adventurous gastronomical seasonal dishes to keep everyone happy. The kitchen team are continuously evolving menus to excite everyone’s taste buds, and are passionate about using seasonal produce..

Please note: We are taking bookings of any number up to 60 people for your office or group party. Our Green room can cater for 28 people sat together but the entire pub can be booked out if you wish for up to 60 people. Christmas parties will run from 19th November to 23rd December so please email us here.

Guests will have a choice of 2 or 3 courses for a fantastic price, please see our menu below. Veggie, Vegan and Coeliac friendly, please communicate any requirements with your booking.

Deposits and pre-orders are required and will be communicated at time of enquiry.

We have taken the decision to allow the team to enjoy Christmas Day with their families therefore we will be closed on Christmas Day this year.

TO START

Spiced parsnip soup, parsnip crisps & crusty bread

or

Confit duck & chicken terrine, pancetta & pistachio, pickled carrot & toasted brioche

or

Cured & marinated Scottish salmon, heritage beetroot, dill potato salad & herb emulsion

or

Tian of provençale vegetables, aubergine caviar, red pepper hummus & crostini (vegan)

TO FOLLOW

Roasted turkey crown, chestnut & sausage stuffing wrapped in bacon, cranberry jus

or

Roasted sirloin of Hereford beef, Yorkshire pudding & port sauce

or

Stuffed fillets of plaice with scallop mousseline & scallop velouté

or

Blenheim wild mushroom & spinach Wellington, vegan gravy (vegan)

(All main dishes are accompanied by roasted potatoes, carrots, parsnip & stem broccoli)

Traditional Christmas pudding & brandy sauce

Double chocolate yule log with berry compote & coulis

Iced pear parfait with mulled wine poached pear & almond biscotti

Trio of British cheeses, artisan biscuits & quiche jelly

A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to each bill & is shared fairly between the team. 

Pre orders and a deposit of £10 per head are essential to secure bookings.

Join us on Saturday 6th December at 10am to make your own wreath!

Hosted by Costwold Botanical Blenheim Flower Show Winner 2022.

Complimentary arrival drink and receive 10% off your bill should you choose to reserve a table for lunch when you are finished making your wreath!  Bookings are essential as limited spaces available.  Please contact the team to secure your place!
